"Nature's Wisdom“ was the theme for the EXPO 2005 in Aichi, Japan.
Following the concept of the architects ingarden & ewy in Krakow, a remarkable pavilion for Poland "Art of Life“ was created. Both outside and inside the pavilion, installations showed the nature and culture of Poland.

The facade was a combination of high-tech material with local and traditional craftsmanship. Inside, a cross-country walk took the visitors on a journey through Poland. The space was divided into two parts: the underground section with the salt mines and the ground level leading from the sea to the Tatra mountains. Multimedia elements and music from the Polish composer Chopin appealed to all senses and built a connection to European traditions.

Holtmann was the main contractor and overall coordinator for the German-Polish consortium.
